This is Miss Kara’s thirteenth year with the Bloomsburg School of Dance, and her first year as owner of the studio. Miss Kara teaches acrobatics as well as coaches our competitive dance team. She has danced since the age of three throughout her college years, studying and competing in a variety of disciplines. She graduated from Bloomsburg University with a degree in nursing and a minor in dance. While at BU, Kara studied dance and was a member of the Dance Ensemble and competition team. Miss Kara is a lineage dance educator, as her mother was a teacher at her dance studio, and she has three girls that now dance at BSD. Dance has and will always be an important part of her life.
This is Miss Staci’s third year on staff at the Bloomsburg School of Dance. She teaches Twinkle Stars, Tap Stars, Prime Style and Rockette Style. Miss Staci had taken her first dance class at age three and has been dancing ever since. She graduated from Gwynedd-Mercy College with a degree in Elementary, Special, and Early Childhood education where she was also a member of the Dance Team for four years. She recently completed her Master’s Program in Special Education while teaching the Elementary Emotional Support Program in the Benton Area School District. Miss Staci enjoys taking ballet classes and watching her daughters as they begin their journeys into dancing at BSD.
Miss Ninya has been dancing at Bloomsburg School of Dance since she was nine years old. Ninya graduated from BSD in 2023 and is currently attending Bloomsburg University. She has studied ballet and pointe and continues to take dance classes in college. Miss Ninya has assisted, taught, subbed, and worked at BSD in the ballet and pointe classes for the last seven years. Miss Ninya loves to connect with the kids while teaching them the art and discipline of dance.
Miss MolliLyn has grown up dancing at the Bloomsburg School of Dance since she was four years old. She has studied ballet, pointe, tap, modern, acro, jazz, ballroom and hip-hop over the past fifteen years. Miss MolliLyn graduated from BSD in 2024 and will now be attending college at Bloomsburg University. Miss MolliLyn has been teaching and assisting with dance for eight years, and she loves teaching our talented dancers each year.
This is Miss Ramona’s third year teaching at the Bloomsburg School of Dance. She has been a part of the Bloomsburg School of Dance family for nine years. Miss Ramona has studied ballet, pointe, hip hop, tap, jazz, acrobatics, ballroom and modern. She is currently a Senior at Bloomsburg Area High School.
Allie is a Bloomsburg native and a NYC based performer. She started dancing at 22, training on a work study scholarship in dance at both Steps on Broadway and Broadway Dance Center. She quickly progressed to the professional level.
Her credits include Off Broadway, Regional, and local New York City venues.She holds a BA in Musical Theater from James Madison university and continued her education at the Yale School of Drama, Stella Adler Studio, the Cap21 Musical Theater Program, and HB Studios. Allie currently studies voice with Rosemary Loar, acting with Richard Kline, and voicover with Anna Garduño. Allie takes dance class regularly from Steps on Broadway, Broadway Dance Center, and Peridance, focusing on ballet/pointe, street jazz, hip hop, musical theater, stiletto heels, dance hall, jazz, and tap. She actively auditions for current Broadway and Off Broadway shows during the audition season. She is a proud member of Actors Equity Association and Sagaftra.
Allie is thrilled to be joining the team at the Bloomsburg School of dance as a guest teacher! She is especially thrilled to be Introducing the new adult beginner series in Ballet and Tap!
Allie's classes focus on quality of movement, technique, and character. This creates a solid foundation to build upon! Her classes have an Inviting and supportive learning environment and she believes dance is for everyone! All ages and all levels!

CJ Whitmire is a dancer, teacher, and choreographer originally based in the Philadelphia area. He recently graduated with an MFA from Temple University and completed his undergraduate studies at West Chester University. CJ's works have been showcased by West Chester University Dance Company, featured at the American College Dance Association, and presented at Temple University's Cornell Hall. Passionate about the intersections of education, dance, and authenticity, CJ is thrilled to join the team at Bloomsburg School of Dance, where he shares his love of dance with his students. He also holds a choreographic residency at Geniuses Theatre Company in Reading, PA, and plans to continue his dance-making journey through various modes, including commercial and competitive dance, recreational dance, concert improvisation and ballroom.
This is Miss Emma's first year teaching at the Bloomsburg School of Dance. She teaches Intermediate Lyrical and Advanced Lyrical and Contemporary dance. She also teaches an Adult Modern/Contemporary class.
Emma graduated from Bloomsburg University in 2023, with a major in Interdisciplinary Studies and a minor in Dance and American Sign Language. While at Bloomsburg University, she was also a part of the Bloomsburg Dance Ensemble for four years.
Miss Emma has been dancing since she was three-years-old. She is passionate about sharing dance and choreography and feels lucky to be on the B.S.D. staff.
This is Miss Lindsey's third year on staff as the Office Manager at the Bloomsburg School of Dance. Miss Lindsey joined the B.S.D. family in the fall of 2019, making this her sixth year. She is a wife to Michael and a mother to Eliana, Bennett, Hannah and Judah.
She started her dance journey at the age of 39 - studying adult tap - and has aspirations to continue to dance as long as God and her body will allow it. She has always had an appreciation for dance and wants to help students who want to dance have that opportunity, both young and adult dancers.
This is Miss Danj’s first year on staff at Bloomsburg School of Dance, but her fifth year as a part of the Bloomsburg School of Dance family. Miss Danj first joined the studio when her oldest daughter began ballet and acrobatics classes in 2020. By the following year she was present all week long as her daughter picked up every class possible - including the competition dance team. While also working for the studio, Miss Danj works full time as a Registered Nurse. This year Miss Danj is excited to be involved on a larger scale, watching children grow, and getting to know the families that join us in the studio. She is also excited to join the world of dance for the first time herself with the new adult classes offered this year.
This is Miss Bre’s first year on staff at Bloomsburg School of Dance. She teaches intermediate tap and petite tap competition. Miss Bre started dancing at the young age of three and continued through college. She graduated from Misericordia University with a degree in Radiography and was a member of both Dance Team and Dance Ensemble. Dance has always been apart of Miss Bre’s life and teaching is another exciting chapter in her dance story.
This is Miss Rebecca's first year teaching at Bloomsburg School of Dance. She teaches the Intermediate Hip-Hop class.
Miss Rebecca is graduating from Bloomsburg University in the spring of 2025 with a major in English Secondary Education and a certificate in Dance. In addition to the Dance minor program, she has been a member of the Bloomsburg Dance Ensemble for three years and currently teaches two classes this year.
Miss Rebecca is from Bethlehem, PA and has been dancing for 20 years in a variety of genres. She is excited to be a part of the studio and can't wait for this year together! She aspires to bring positive energy, fun and confidence to her dancers and class.
This is Miss Muriel's first year on staff at the Bloomsburg School of Dance. She is currently at junior at Commonwealth University of PA, Bloomsburg Campus, majoring in American Sign Language interpreting, with a minor in dance. Though she has danced since the age of 13, she was a competitive gymnast prior to these years.
Hip-Hop is one of her favorite styles of dance, but other favorite styles include: acrobatics, contemporary, lyrical, jazz and ballet. Having taught students ages 6-13 at a summer fine arts camp, she also has a love for musical theater dance.
This is Miss Ashley's first year teaching at the Bloomsburg School of Dance, where she brings a diverse background in tap, lyrical, hip-hop and acrobatics. She currently teaches Beginners' Tap and Beginners' Hip-Hop.
Miss Ashley recently graduated from Bloomsburg University with a Bachelor's degree in Social Work and was a Division II cheerleader throughout her four years in college. She is now continuing her education, pursuing a Master's degree in Social Work.
With years of experience in dance from elementary school through college, including involvement in musicals and cheerleading, Miss Ashley is so excited to be a part of the B.S.D. team and share her passion with her students.
This is Miss Alexis' first year on staff and third year dancing at Bloomsburg School of Dance. She has studied ballet, pointe, modern, jazz and contemporary dance. Currently a sophomore at Danville Area High School, she hopes to continue dancing for as long as possible.
This is Miss Mehri's first year on staff at the Bloomsburg School of Dance. She has been dancing for 15 years and has studied ballet, pointe, contemporary, lyrical, jazz, hip-hop, acrobatics and Irish.
Miss Mehri was also a competitive dancer for three years at her previous studio and danced on her school dance team during high school. While at Central Columbia High School, she also enjoyed cheerleading and Ski Club.
Miss Mehri is looking forward to meeting all of the members of B.S.D. and is enthusiastic about getting back into the studio. You can find her assisting in Tumble Stars, Cirque Style and Rockette Style dance. She is determined to make every class experience fun and memorable.
